The lack of color and the general expression on her face further conveys the very mood heavy scene; A lovely model in the forefront, blurred city lights in the back, and railing that allows one to think she is perched against the rail relishing in thought. Down cast eyes and mostly closed lids whisper of reminiscence and something lost. Over all this is a very artistic capture; Great vision and empathy, original composition, outstanding technique, and as a finishing touch it is topped a breath taking impact.
Fine work my good chap.
P.S. This is my number one recommendation for these kinds of shots; Get her to look through the camera and the viewer as if she didn't see anything in front of her. This would still lend her to the feeling of wandering thought, but it would allow the audience to see in to her instead of just her 'feathers fluff' so to speak.
